Workshop 1- Construct the dragon
The group will join big boxes and attach molded cardboard to build the form. Cover it it with paper-mache and cloth. (Note- molded cardboard is packing materials, for eggs, apples, shoes etc. Styrofoam also works)

Workshop 2- Decorate the Dragon
We will decorate the dragon using re-cycled materials, textiles, ribbons, glitz, artificial flowers, etc. ls.
Sat Feb 18
!Dragon Dance!
We will bring our dragon to the New Year's Parade in Oakland Chinatown.
Bring soundmakers, cow bells, percussion, etc and we will dance with our Dragon. (no experience necessary)
Donate to the Workshop: Materials for construction- textiles, moulded cardboard, and artificial flowers. Lots of green. Bring them to the workshop so we can use them.
