Multi-Use Events & Program Space

The California Street Multi-Use Space is a beautiful high-ceilinged, atrium-style room for programs, events, performances and assembly – featuring a movie theater, sprung dance floor, rehearsal theater, professional quality lighting and sound, a print studio and teaching space. This is a public use space, analogous to a “library”, that provides resources for artists.

This space will also contain Gallery2727 -  a cooperative art gallery run by the member artists with support from the Foundation, for display, consignment and sale of the artist members’ work (see Gallery2727 page for details). Gallery2727 shows will be every other month.

The Multi-Use Event and Program Space will be available mostly on non-Gallery 2727 months - for community assembly, readings, dance, film shows, workshops, music, theater rehearsal and shows, meetings and performances. These may include pop-ups, film festivals, musical events, club meetings, rehearsals and other uses by artists and the general public. The Multi-Use Space will be available to the public and as a venue, alternating with and coordinated with Gallery2727 use, on a rotating basis (see Programs page for more details).

*The space is also available for private usage. Please reach out to programs@2727.today and provide details regarding your request.
