a gathering to learn about, cross-pollinate, conjure and assemble kinship kits 

“kinship kits” are a speculative practice of unsettling settler kinship. The making, assembling and using of the kit, be it physical or metaphysical, is an exploration of tending to and fumbling towards right relation with our human and other than human world while living in our precarious and unresolved present. 

These kits are designed to support us in being with these wonderings. 

as we look for connection with kin,

how do we stay in relation when the fabric of society has been woven by generations of historical, relational oppressions and harms? 

how do we stay in relation in the face of exhaustion and failure of many critical and radical projects in a climatological catastrophe?

This workshop is for any magickal, witchy being interested in the practices and values of conflict transformation, transformative and restorative justice and who wants to dive deeper into creative and playful ways of fumbling through relationship with humans and other than human beings
