An Evening Of Togetherness

SAME BOAT is a multidisciplinary group show featuring works that explore how our interconnected and mutually-dependent lives are the buoyancy we need to navigate life’s many uncertainties. The goal of this event is to provide a (recurring) platform for collectively expressing and celebrating how our relation, partner, companion, and friendSHIPS remind us that we are not alone, that we’re in the SAME BOAT! Through live music, film, poetry, sculpture, visual, and participatory artworks, this event will invite us all to blur the lines between artist and audience, self and community, isolation and connection, breaking down the binaries and engaging in an iterative, reflective, shared experience that reinforces our mutual interdependence.
