To commemorate Black History Month, Gallery 2727 will be a satellite exhibition space for The Art of the African Diaspora from February 1 – 29, 2024. The Art of the African Diaspora (AOTAD) exhibit occurs yearly since 1997 at the Richmond Art Center with over 150 artists of African descent participating. The Gallery 2727 satellite show, The Power of Nature, will feature the art work of Gallery 2727 co-operative members Tiffany Conway-Cornelius, Carla Golder, Nichole Talbott, and guest artists Abi Mustapha, Kim Champion, and Zoe Boston. 

The opening reception will be Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, 6 – 9 PM. There also will be gallery hours scheduled on Thurs., Feb.1, 1-5 PM; Friday, Feb. 16, 1-5 PM, with artist’s talks beginning at 2 PM; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Feb. 22, 23, and 24, 1-5 PM.
