Please join us for an evening of wonderful poetry. Marisa Crawford is on a book tour in support of her latest poetry collection, Diary, out from Spuyten Duyvil. She will be joined by local poets Brian Ng and Steve Orth.
Marisa Crawford is the author of the poetry collections Diary (forthcoming, Spuyten Duyvil), Reversible and The Haunted House. She is the editor of The Weird Sister Collection (Feminist Press, forthcoming 2024), and co-editor, with Megan Milks, of We Are The Baby-Sitters Club: Essays & Artwork from Grown-Up Readers. Marisa’s writing has appeared in The Nation, Harper’s Bazaar, Hyperallergic, BUST, and elsewhere. Marisa is the creator and editor-in-chief of Weird Sister, a website and organization that explores the intersections of feminism, literature, and pop culture, and co-host of the 90s rock podcast All Our Pretty Songs. She lives in New York.
Brian Ng is the author of Fragment (Gauss PDF) and All I Want (Islet).
Steve Orth is a poet based out of Oakland, CA. His books include Lust for Life (Travelin' Lite, 2018), The Life & Times of Steve Orth (Dogpark Collective, 2020), and most recently Inflatable Ball (Bottlecap Press, 2023). His work has appeared in Hot Pink Magazine, SFMOMA blog, Art Practical, Tagvverk, and Trilobite.
