Widespread reactivity and polarization blocks us from connecting to ourselves and others., This workshop offers a powerful alternative: Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Led by Phoenix, an African-American facilitator, and Eric, an Asian-American facilitator, this interactive seminar is open to people of all backgrounds who want to cultivate peace, empathy, and connection in their lives and communities. Through engaging exercises, role-playing, and real-life scenarios, participants will learn to express their needs and feelings honestly while listening to others with deep empathy and understanding. We strive to create a space where individuals explore how to navigate challenging conversations, defusing judgment or blame, and building bridges with compassion and empathy. . Participants will leave with practical tools they can apply immediately to bring more clarity, collaboration and creativity into personal and professional relationships. In addition to offering tools and practice, we hope to foster a sense of community and co-support for participants. on the journey toward nonviolence and deeper human connection. We request a participation fee to support our sustainability. Accessibility and inclusion are important to us andis no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We believe that now, more than ever, it’s essential to build communities grounded in empathy and mutual respect. Join us?
